The ministry in Cape Town is young, but the work God has done in just over a year is encouraging:
Fall 2023:
- Zero students had professed faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Three team members met with only a handful of students to read the Bible.
- No formal student-led Bible studies were underway.
- A large group gathered for the first time.
Fall 2024:
- Over ten students have professed faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Two student-led Bible studies are being held with non-believing friends.
- Five team members are leading three Bible studies that focus on digging deeper into God’s Word, with 15 students in attendance.
- One staff woman reports meeting with eight women regularly to read God’s word, pray, and discuss living out their faith.
- Four students have begun volunteering to plan Christ-centered large group gatherings for their peers to attend.
This is not a comprehensive list, but it begs the question, “What will God do over the next year?” Pray with us for these things, and we will keep you posted on what God does!
