At Campus Outreach SERVE, we desire to help anyone associated with Campus Outreach to labor in strength and build more laborers for the harvest. Whether you are a student, staff member, or alumni, we aim to help you live out Jesus’ words that “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”

History

Campus Outreach SERVE began when hub church and Campus Outreach staff leaders realized the need for more coordination, collaboration, and resources across the ministry. Over its first 40 years, the Campus Outreach movement had grown to a few dozen locations in almost ten countries. However, there was no means by which those leaders, ministry locations, and churches all related to one another in collaborative partnership.

Campus Outreach leaders posed the question, “If collaboration is difficult with a few dozen locations, how will it be sustainable when we reach one hundred locations?” 

Therefore, in the late 2010s, the process began to develop an entity that would serve the needs of Campus Outreach locations and churches worldwide. This process resulted in all the hub churches commissioning Campus Outreach SERVE into existence on January 1, 2020.

Impact

Since then, Campus Outreach SERVE has developed a world-class menu of programs and services focused on equipping Campus Outreach staff to minister to university students around the world. Campus Outreach staff serve on the front lines of rapid cultural change and meet students at the intersection of many belief systems, lifestyle options, and critical choices. 

The ultimate aim of Campus Outreach SERVE is to help the global network of Campus Outreach ministries see more students reached with the gospel, developed into spiritual leaders, and deployed into a lifetime of service to Christ through His church.
