Guadalajara, Mexico
Campus Outreach Guadalajara was launched in 2014. It serves Iglesia Metropolitana de Guadalajara and works to reach students at Universidad Panamericana. It exists to build laborers in a region where less than 1% of people know Christ. The team's prayer is that God would transform this area, known as the Circle of Silence, and the rest of the country through the Gospel's proclamation and the strengthening of the Church.
Our Team
Kike & Brittany Astorga
Kike joined the Campus Outreach staff team in April 2017. He and his wife Brittany were married in July 2013. They have four children Chloe, Clark, Elliot, and Bruce. Kike is the Regional Director for Guadalajara. Prior to his time on staff with Campus Outreach, he helped to plan several Cross Cultural Projects and served as an Intern Pastor for three years.
Audrey Arant
Audrey grew up in the Bible Belt and mostly went to church out of tradition during the holidays. She didn’t begin a personal relationship with Jesus until a friend invited her to a Christian summer camp, New Life Ranch, where she heard the Gospel in a way that truly changed her life. Although she gave her life to Christ then, it wasn’t until her freshman year at Oklahoma State University that she really learned what it looked like to walk out her faith daily. Through Student Mobilization and her college church, the Lord grew her heart for the nations and gave her a deeper understanding of the Great Commission. In Fall 2025, Audrey studied abroad in Thailand. She and her best friend started a Bible study and gained a firsthand perspective of different cultures and deep needs for Jesus. During that season, God began stirring her heart toward overseas ministry. Audrey is humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve in Guadalajara, Mexico, and see how the Lord continues to move in and through the nations.
Cesar Bonilla
I grew up in a Catholic family, so I didn’t know anything about the gospel growing up. It was during college, when I was at my lowest point, that God sent people to become a part of my life. He sent two friends who were participating in a CCP in Guadalajara, Mexico. They loved me, cared for me, became my friends, and ultimately shared the good news with me. I know that there are other students like me who are living in sadness, without meaning, people who are waiting for someone to love and share the gospel with them. Mexico is a country that still lives in a lot of darkness, and I want to become a part of the staff team in Guadalajara because of the huge need there is. With the help of the rest of the team, I want to help in ministering to other students so they can get to know Christ and contribute with spreading the light of the gospel in my country.
Zack & Yiyi Kempf
My call to ministry was both sudden and gradual. God rescued me through friends from Campus Outreach (CO) who loved me and shared Christ with me. That same grace gave me a deep burden to see others transformed by the Gospel. After graduating from Monmouth College, I worked in the U.S. while supporting ministry efforts in Mexico. During a visit to Guadalajara, I met Citlali (Yiyi). We went on one date and were married 11 months later. In 2018, I moved to Guadalajara to be with Yiyi, and God quickly deepened my love for the city, the people, and the church. As we served and invested in students, God gave our family a growing burden for Guadalajara, a region where fewer than 1 in 100 people know Christ. We began to pray: “Lord, we are no one special, but we are here, and the need is great. If you want to use us, please do.” Since 2023, we have served full-time with CO Guadalajara. Our vision is to see God transform the campus, city, and region as Christ saves students and establishes healthy churches. We are grateful to serve alongside an incredible church and ministry family, and we are especially blessed with our three children: Zamiel, James, and Joseph. We invite you to partner with us as we seek to make Christ known in Guadalajara and beyond.
Christina Little
Christina grew up going to church but did not understand the fullness of the Gospel until her first year of college. After about six months of wrestling with the Lord, Christ proved to be worth everything. During her college experience, God put a burden on her heart for women to know the Lord, so she began to share with others around the college campus. After college, God led Christina to join the Campus Outreach team in Monterrey, Mexico. As part of a pioneering team, they learned how to do college ministry in Mexico and helped plant a church. Christina even learned more about herself and God’s character along the way. Now, as her time in Monterrey has come to a close, she is excited to help develop the women’s ministry and use the tools and giftings God has given her to reach college students with the Gospel in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Ana de la Rosa
I grew up with the blessing of having Christian parents, who shared the gospel with me when I was a kid. However, it wasn’t until I was 12 that I realized I couldn’t be the one in control of my life, and I needed Jesus to be Lord and Savior to guide me and forgive all my sins. During my teenage years, the Lord continued to work in me and change my heart. When I started college, I became involved in the ministry of Campus Outreach through our church, but it wasn’t until my Junior year that I realized the depth of my sin and how the gospel can redeem and bring reconciliation and everlasting comfort to my life. During my senior year, I began to see more of the need for women on the campus, and how there are so many more girls who also need the redemption, comfort, and reconciliation of Christ.
Alex Sandoval
I grew up in a catholic family, going to church every Sunday, even though I was never interested in God or the Bible. Before I became a believer, I would put my identity in sports or academics. Upon not being able to become a professional soccer player, I entered college, putting my identity in being a successful man and the best of my class. After a year of college, I managed to reach my goal, but I felt very miserable and lonely. At this low point in my life, God brought me to Him through a CCP team during the summer of 2019. He opened my eyes to see how great a sinner I am, and He lavished His grace upon me and saved me through those friendships that I made and through hearing the Gospel from them. Now, even though I have experienced some opposition from my family for being a Christian, and it has been hard, I want to be used by God to impact my campus, that I may be to other students what the crew of that CCP was for me. I believe God has put the desire in me to do full-time college ministry and the opportunity to do it. I want to see people all around the campus come to Christ and know that they have a Lord and Savior that loves them and died for them, just as I did in 2019.
Libby Thornton
Libby was raised in a Christian household. At the age of 12, she came to know the Lord personally and went on her first international mission trip. It was through this and years of continued trips that God grew Libby’s heart for the nations. After high school, she attended Troy University, where she got involved with Campus Outreach. Through that ministry, the Lord deepened her faith and grew her calling for international ministry exponentially. After serving on a Cross-Cultural Project, the Lord allowed her to see the impact of campus ministry work, and she is excited to be a part of God’s work on the campus in Guadalajara, Mexico. Libby is expectant and eager to witness all the Lord will do and is praying that He will use her as a vessel for His Great Commission.
