Khon Kaen, Thailand
CO Khon Kaen was launched in 1998 and partners with Covenant Church Khon Kaen to reach students at Khon Kaen University. They exist to build laborers at Khon Kaen University, which serves over 37,000 students, and throughout Thailand, where less than 1% of the population is Christian. The team's prayer is that God would call Thai people to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ and raise up laborers who will faithfully proclaim the gospel to the lost. Additionally, we pray that God will continue expanding His Kingdom throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Our Team

Guy and Ying Sakitkhwa
My name is Wirawat Sakitkhwa, but most people call me Guy. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Northeastern University (NEU). I have been serving with Campus Outreach for 23 years, and currently, I have the privilege of serving as the Regional Director, overseeing both the Khon Kaen and Udon teams. My wife, Ying, and I have been married for 17 years, and we have one son, Agape, who is 15 years old.

Mome (Napatson Changethinpa)
My name is Mome. I came to Christ in middle school. There was a church near my house where I experienced the love of God’s people in a way I had never known before. This left a deep impression on me and sparked my curiosity about why the people at church seemed so transformed. One day, I heard a sermon about God’s love on Mother’s Day. It was a turning point where God opened my heart to receive His love. About two months later, I decided to believe in Him. God then led me to study at Khon Kaen University, where I connected with the Campus Outreach (CO) community even before my first semester began. Through this, I was able to grow deeper in my faith. I had opportunities to serve – like singing, being an MC, and helping with student ministry. Through those experiences, God opened my eyes to the importance of clearly proclaiming the gospel and helping believers become rooted in their faith so that they, too, can go and disciple others.

Yute and May Kamwhan
Yute and May both came to know the Lord through Campus Outreach while students at Khon Kaen University. Yute was a single staff with CO for four years after college and served in the Thai Navy for one year. Yute and May married in April 2013. Before re-joining CO staff, he was a teacher at a local Thai Christian school. Yute desires to share the gospel with students and families of the local community primarily through soccer ministry. Yute will also serve through assisting recent CO graduates who serve in Khon Kaen as part of the LEAD team.

Fluk (Jirapond Khadyot)
My name is Fluk. I graduated in Biology from Khon Kaen University in May 2018. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life in 2016 through the Campus Outreach ministry. By God’s grace, I was discipled and learned how to grow in knowing Jesus making Him known. After graduation, God opened a door for me to serve Him with CO. I am now an intern with the resource team. My main goal is to know God more and to serve Him. I am privileged to serve Him through the CO ministry.

Tdong and Amm Nantakultanawat
I began to be a follower of Jesus in September 2008 through the witness of my wife. My wife was reached with the gospel through the CO ministry. God gave me a desire to know Him more and to serve Him. In 2012, I worked for Covenant Church Khonkaen and then in 2014, I came on staff with Campus Outreach KhonKaen. I want to see God reach the Thai communities with the gospel through the reaching and raising up of Thai students.

Arm (Chonlathit Phoobuakam)
I grew up in a Buddhist family. I entered Khon Kaen University (KKU) in May 2010 to study Biology. That year, I became a Christian through Campus Outreach and then was discipled by CO staff as well. In my third year while I interned in a Plant Taxonomy Lab. I enjoyed my studies but thought to myself “I can’t spend my whole life with just plants. There are many people waiting to hear the gospel!” My heart echoes how Isaiah responded to the question “whom shall I send.” So I came on CO staff in 2015. I want to see students disciple other students on campus and to see them be influencers for Jesus in Thailand and to the ends of the world.

Earn Phukongchai
I came to the Lord as a freshman student at Khon Kaen University where I majored in English. As I was discipled, God began to change my views about how to invest my life. I became interested in serving God full-time. Campus Outreach hired me as an intern in 2012 after I graduated. God lead me to join the Campus Outreach team after my internship. I serve on the resource team and co-leads the COKK mobilization efforts. My primary personal ministry target are students at Khon Kaen University.

Yim (Supunsa Punthadech)
My name is Yim, and I came to know Jesus Christ through Campus Outreach Khon Kaen in 2017. After becoming a believer, I was involved in many activities that helped me learn more about God. Since I have become a Christian, I have been equipped and have seen God change my life and the lives of other believers. This has confirmed in me that Jesus is the true Savior. I want everyone to come to know God. Many people don’t know Him yet. One thing I realize is that the workers of God are few. Therefore, I feel God has called me to be a servant of God, so I want to be part of bringing the Gospel to other people through the ministry of CO.

Toey Sasithorn
In 2014, I came to know Jesus through the Campus Outreach ministry the summer of my freshman year. Through the rest of college, I learned more about Jesus and the Bible through discipleship groups and through church. Seeing how God called me to his salvation through college ministry, I started to have a burden for the lost on campus. I joined the Campus Outreach Thailand team in 2017.
I want to see God use my life to expand his Kingdom through ministry on campus and see those who give their lives to Christ grow in him and continue to labor for him.

Nai and Blaa Sathonrat
I have been serving the Lord with Campus Outreach Khon Kaen, Thailand for 16 years. God has given me the privilege to serve as an Area Director who coaches campus directors and shepherds, trains, and develops the staff team. Moreover, God has given me the privilege to be a pastor at our church, to lead and develop church leader teams, and to help equip the leaders at our church. We believe that to expand the Kingdom of God is to build leaders who commit their lives to the Great Commission! I am married to Blaa who serves as Member Care for our team. Her role is to help staff stay spiritually, mentally, and physically healthy. “Healthy staff bring healthy teams, which bring healthy movements” is the quote frequently focused on in our team! We also have 2 daughters, Anya and Hannah!

Tontan (Thananon Srihabua)
My name is Tontan, a Master’s student in Medical Microbiology at Khon Kaen University. Through the Thai Summer Project 2023, God opened my eyes to see my sin and led me to repentance and faith in Him. By His grace, I have been growing in His unfailing love through Campus Outreach Khon Kaen and a Christ-centered community. His love continues to sustain me and has given me a vision for people around me who are searching for love that will not last. I long for them to know the true and eternal love that is found only in Christ. I believe God is leading me and giving me a personal vision to respond to His mission by serving as an intern – to lovingly share the gospel with others and make disciples who will help others know and follow Him.

Ploy (Pattaraporn Srioumsuk)
In 2021, Ploy came to know God through a prayer in which she asked for a friend. God answered her prayer by leading her to Campus Outreach Khon Kaen, where she heard about God’s story and grew in her faith. During her final year, Ploy interned in Bangkok, where God opened her eyes to see more children and working adults, many of whom were hopeless and in need of help, but they didn’t know where that help would come from. That is when Ploy decided to serve with Campus Outreach, so that students can hear the Gospel and come to know God, preparing them to enter the next stage of life with Him by their side.
