Stephen grew up just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, with the incredible blessing of a family and community who reflected the Body of Christ in the amazing way that God uses imperfect people to reflect His own perfect Character. Accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior as soon as his young mind could comprehend that decision, the Lord graciously continues to use the struggles and victories of this life to draw him closer and closer to the heart of Christ. Assuming his life as an engineer was a sure thing, he completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech while minoring in Engineering & Business. However, after graduation, God graciously reminded him who is in control, leading him to spend 2 years in Chiang Mai, Thailand with Campus Outreach. Following those initial two years, Stephen feels led by God to continue this mission in Chiang Mai until the Lord directs him otherwise. He is reminded daily that it is not our job to change hearts but simply to share the Good News of the Gospel wherever we are.
