Abbey Carlson

By God’s presence in her loving family and hometown church, Abbey grew up knowing that God loved her. However, she wasn’t introduced to the gift of a personal relationship with Jesus until her junior year of high school. During her time at the University of St. Thomas, she learned the complete and utter freedom found in the gospel of Jesus Christ - from sin, death, and the pattern of this lost world. After two rich years of discipleship through Campus Outreach and a summer as a student leader in South Carolina, she was eager to step into college ministry. The Lord led her to a position that allowed her to pursue both of her heart’s desires: to homeschool (staff) children and to minister to college students. The beauty of Jesus captivates Abbey so deeply that she does not want the world to be left blind to the gospel. She is humbled and overjoyed to serve in Birmingham, United Kingdom, as God continues to draw people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to Himself.
