B.J. grew up in Clinton, South Carolina. She became a Christian through the ministry of Campus Outreach during her freshman year at The Citadel. After being changed by the good news of the gospel, she committed to serving the Lord on The Citadel's campus, helping others know the good news. With the desire for all people to know the gospel, she will now be serving with CO SERVE, empowering Campus Outreach staff around the world. While at The Citadel, she majored in Physical Education. She loves hiking, Cherry Coke, and Clemson Tiger football!
