Emmanuel and Julie moved to Houston from Nigeria and Southeast Asia, respectively, and both became Christians while in high school. They met at Houston Baptist University and have been serving with Campus Outreach in college ministry since 2016. They now have three children - Judah, Shiloh, and Eden. After visiting Julie's family in Southeast Asia in 2025, they caught a vision to share the gospel with Southeast Asian people through college campuses. Southeast Asia is approximately 95% non-Christian, but even that number does not fully capture the spiritual need. There is very little knowledge of Jesus or the Bible. For many Southeast Asian people, the issue is not that they have rejected the gospel; it is that they have never heard or truly encountered it. Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” When the Ubadinobis look at Southeast Asia, they see a country filled with people who need to hear about Jesus. They go to Southeast Asia to make disciples of Jesus, disciples who will make disciples, who will reach families, communities, and eventually an entire nation.
