Garrett grew up in church always hearing, “Jesus loves you and died for your sins,” but never realized it was the weight of his sin that made Jesus have to die in the first place. Garrett began to question that love and eventually came to the conclusion that he wanted no part of a God who said He loved him, yet denied him a "happy" life.

In 2013, Garrett met Campus Outreach staff members Justin and Heath, who shared the gospel with him. He finally realized that a "happy" life means following Christ. After Garrett gave his life to the Lord, he started making disciples himself. Nothing fires him up more than seeing young men know and behold the beauty and worthiness of Jesus.
