Sydney grew up in Holton, Kansas, a town where most families attend church regularly, and identify as Christians. She always had a heart for God, but she didn’t truly understood what it looked like to obey and walk with God daily until she went to college at Kansas State University. Sydney got involved with Student Mobilization on campus, attended their summer project, and spent two summers in Southeast Asia. Through these experiences, God burdened Sydney’s heart with a desire for her friends, family, campus, and the world to come into relationship with God. She yearned to help others understand as she had. Sydney has an overwhelming amount of gratitude for the redemptive work God has done in and through her life and is eager to see Him do the same in the lives of students through Campus Outreach in Edinburgh!
